This private residence, designed by YODEZEEN and unveiled in 2023, aims to fearlessly explore the boundaries of modern minimalism, showcasing a unique architectural charm.

Viewed from the outside, the exterior of Sierra House exudes a sense of strength and confidence. The building is composed of sharp cubic forms and clean lines, presenting a distinct modernist style. The bold combination of basalt, corten steel, and glass endows the building with a unique temperament. The basalt, with its heavy texture and deep color, provides a stable foundation for the building, and its rough texture reveals the original texture of nature. The corten steel develops a unique rusty color over time, creating an atmosphere that combines industrial style and naturalness when paired with basalt. The large - area glass breaks the heaviness brought by the stone and steel, giving the building excellent transparency. It not only allows in ample natural light but also blurs the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces, enabling residents to have close contact with the surrounding natural environment at any time.

从室外看，塞拉住宅的外观充满力量感与自信。建筑由尖锐的立方体形态和简洁的线条构成，呈现出鲜明的现代主义风格。而玄武岩、耐候钢和玻璃这几种材料的大胆融合，更是为建筑增添了独特的气质。玄武岩质地厚重、颜色深邃，赋予建筑沉稳的根基，其粗糙的纹理彰显着自然的原始质感；耐候钢随着时间推移会形成独特的锈迹色泽，与玄武岩搭配，营造出一种工业风与自然感交织的氛围；大面积的玻璃则打破了石材和钢材带来的厚重感，使建筑具有极佳的通透感，不仅引入充足的自然光线，还模糊了室内外空间的界限，让居住者能随时与周围自然环境亲密接触。

Entering the interior of the residence, the modern minimalist design concept runs through every corner. The interior also emphasizes the use of natural materials, preserving the original textures and qualities of the materials. Every detail demonstrates the sophistication of art. The living room floor is paved with natural stone that echoes the basalt outside. Its irregular texture and cool, hard touch bring a natural atmosphere and set a stable tone for the space. Paired with simple white sofas and geometric - shaped coffee tables, it creates a strong visual contrast, highlighting a simple yet elegant style.

In areas where a softer atmosphere is required, such as the bedroom, warm wooden materials are used for decoration. The wooden headboards, floors, and some wall decorations add a warm texture to the space, allowing people to feel the comfort of nature while resting.

墙面部分区域采用了裸露的混凝土，不加修饰的表面展现出建筑结构的原始美感，与周围的自然材质共同营造出一种质朴、纯粹的空间氛围。而在一些需要柔和氛围的区域，如卧室，则选用了温暖的木质材料进行装饰，木质的床头板、地板以及部分墙面装饰，为空间增添了温馨的质感，让人在休息时能感受到自然的抚慰。

In terms of lighting design, Sierra House skillfully combines natural light and artificial lighting. During the day, plenty of sunlight pours in through the glass curtain walls, illuminating every corner of the interior. At night, artificial lighting fixtures such as hidden light strips, simple chandeliers, and wall lamps create a warm and layered lighting effect.
