Jiang Guojun, born in 1947, pen name: Hu Painter, Son of the Mountain, courtesy name "Hu Yuan". He has been learning painting since childhood. After encountering the Northeast tiger in 1973, he formed an inseparable bond with the tiger and has been dedicated to the art of tiger painting for over half a century. He is not only skilled in traditional Chinese painting with meticulous brushwork and ink wash, but also has profound knowledge in watercolor and oil painting. As a national first-class artist and a special guest gift artist, Jiang Guojun's artistic achievements are highly recognized. He serves as a visiting professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and an art mentor at CCTV. He is also an honorary doctorate in art from Colorado Engineering University and a specially appointed painter at the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts.
