Hidden away in the mountains of Sutton, Quebec, Canada, lies the Gray Tree House, a charming residence that was meticulously crafted by La Nony FAMILI Design and completed in 2024 from a run-down 1970s log cabin to a home that blends modern comforts with historic charm.

在加拿大魁北克省萨顿的群山环抱中，隐匿着一座别具魅力的住宅 —— 灰树屋。它由 La Nony FAMILI 设计公司精心雕琢，于 2024 年完成改造，从一座破败的 20 世纪 70 年代小木屋，摇身一变成为融合现代舒适与历史韵味的温馨家园。

From the outside, the Ash Tree House cleverly blends into the surrounding winter scenery. The choice of materials for the building's facade is ingenious, and the splicing and changes of different materials strengthen the building's unique sense of rhythm. The use of black and white tones echoes the local winter atmosphere of silver, allowing the house to coexist harmoniously with the natural environment. The large area of SCHÜCO windows not only ensures sufficient indoor lighting, but also brings the beautiful scenery of the outdoor forest into the room, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor. Looking from a distance, the Ash Tree House looks like it has grown naturally from the mountains and forests, and it contrasts with the surrounding ash trees, forming a peaceful and beautiful picture.

从外观上看，灰树屋巧妙地融入了周边冬季的景致。建筑外立面的材料选择独具匠心，不同材质的拼接变化，强化了建筑特有的韵律感。黑白色调的运用，呼应着当地冬季银装素裹的氛围，让房屋与自然环境和谐共生。大面积的 SCHÜCO 窗户，不仅保证了室内充足的采光，还将室外的森林美景引入室内，模糊了室内外的界限。从远处眺望，灰树屋就像是从山林中自然生长出来的一般，与周围的灰树相互映衬，构成一幅宁静而美好的画面。

When you step into the house, the first thing that catches your eye is the restored grand grey wood staircase. Its bottle green handrails and newly added light openings fill the stairwell with natural light, becoming the centerpiece of the entire house. The staircase is not only a passage connecting different floors, but also a fine work of art that carries the historical memory of the house. As you climb the stairs, you can see the exposed beam ceiling, which retains the original structural characteristics of the building, adding a rustic and rugged atmosphere to the interior.

步入室内，首先映入眼帘的是那座经过修复的宏伟灰木楼梯，其瓶绿色的扶手和新增的采光开口，让楼梯间充满了自然光线，成为整个房屋的核心亮点。楼梯的存在，不仅是连接不同楼层的通道，更像是一件精美的艺术品，承载着房屋的历史记忆。沿着楼梯拾级而上，抬头便能看到裸露的横梁天花板，这些横梁保留了建筑原有的结构特色，为室内增添了一份质朴与粗犷的气息。

The design of the living room also fully demonstrates the designer's clever use of space and respect for nature. The former balcony has been transformed into an extension of the living room. A huge panoramic window faces the forest, making residents feel as if they are in the forest. The central stone fireplace is the warm center of the living room. Its tall and majestic shape complements the surrounding modern decoration. On a cold winter day, sitting around the fireplace, watching the jumping flames and admiring the snow scene outside the window is very comfortable. In order to meet the diverse needs of modern life, the living room also cleverly integrates the home theater function, and the giant TV on the track can easily realize the conversion of space functions.

客厅的设计也充分展现了设计师对空间的巧妙利用和对自然的尊崇。曾经的阳台被改造成客厅的延伸部分，一扇巨大的全景窗户直面森林，让居民仿佛置身于森林之中。中央的石制壁炉，是客厅的温暖中心，其高大而威严的造型，与周围的现代装饰相得益彰。在寒冷的冬日，围坐在壁炉旁，看着跳跃的火焰，欣赏着窗外的雪景，惬意十足。为了满足现代生活的多样化需求，客厅还巧妙地融入了家庭影院功能，通过轨道上的巨型电视，轻松实现空间功能的转换。

In the kitchen area, the Caesarstone countertops and CERAGRES tiles complement each other. The simple and smooth countertop lines, matched with the soft-colored tiles, are both practical and beautiful. The sink from Béton Architectural Johnstone, with its unique material and design, adds a sense of art to the kitchen. Here, cooking is no longer a simple chore, but a way to enjoy life.

厨房区域，Caesarstone 的台面与 CERAGRES 的瓷砖搭配得相得益彰。简洁流畅的台面线条，搭配色彩柔和的瓷砖，既实用又美观。Béton Architectural Johnstone 的水槽，以其独特的材质和设计，为厨房增添了一份艺术感。在这里，烹饪不再是一项简单的家务，而是一种享受生活的方式。

The design of the bedroom focuses on creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The soft lighting, warm tones and comfortable beds make people relax as soon as they enter the room. The children's bedroom, in particular, is full of fun and creativity. The children's room on the upper floor is connected to other rooms through an overhead corridor, which not only increases the sense of space, but also creates a unique activity space for children. The corridor is designed at the height of the cathedral ceiling, making the entire space appear more open and transparent, while also achieving visual continuity between different floors.

卧室的设计注重营造温馨舒适的氛围。柔和的灯光、温暖的色调以及舒适的床铺，让人一进入房间就能放松身心。特别是儿童卧室，充满了趣味性和创意。位于上层的儿童房，通过架空的走廊与其他房间相连，不仅增加了空间的层次感，还为孩子们创造了一个独特的活动空间。走廊设计在大教堂式天花板的高度，让整个空间显得更加开阔通透，同时也实现了不同楼层之间的视觉连贯性。

In terms of decorative details, the designer used a lot of natural materials, such as bleached ash wood, lime paint and painted paneling.
