滑雪爱好者朋友们，大家好。我是来自瑞典的高友远，很自豪的说我是中国瓦萨的创始人之一，同时我还是长春的荣誉市民。
我在2001年第一次访问长春时发现了净月潭公园举办瓦萨及其他赛事的潜力，并与长春市长先生以及净月潭公园的宫先生一致同意将瓦萨落地中国。
所以，2002年我们专心于此项工作，访问了瑞典，同瑞典瓦萨主席先生会面，他给予了我们大力支持。访问瑞典后，我们于2002年底签订合作合同。这几个月的努力也打开了中国瓦萨的开端。
2003年3月，我们在中国举办了第一届瓦萨滑雪节。工作过程很艰辛，3月份我们在比赛前两周呈现了完美的雪况，比赛前一周还在夜以继日的人工造雪。
本次比赛的冠军是来自瑞典曾多次获得冠军的选手，前三名也被瑞典选手包揽。2003年也有其他感兴趣的运动员参加，比如前奥运冠军，还有大约1500名学生参加了越野滑雪赛。这也是一个新的里程碑。
在那之后，滑雪节在每年的一月举办。2025年即将举办第23届瓦萨滑雪节。在此期间，我们还与中国滑雪协会合作举办了3届世界杯滑雪赛。前日本世界冠军也在长春参加了比赛。
值得一提的是，瓦萨为中国申办2022年冬奥会提供了巨大助力，并最终帮助北京成功申奥，这一点也让瓦萨感到十分自豪。瓦萨会一直继续陪伴大家。对于今年的赛事我也很期待，在此祝大家都能在比赛中取得好成绩。让我们相聚在长春！
Hello, vasa ski friends. My name is Gao Youyuan from Sweden. I am proud to say that I am one of the founders of Vasaloppet China and I am also an honorary citizen of Changchun.
I saw the potential of Jingyuetan Park to host Vasaloppet and other events during my first visit to Changchun in 2001. And with Changchun Mayor and Mr. Gong of Jingyuetan Park agreed to hold Vasaloppet in China.
In 2002, we devoted ourselves to this work by visiting Sweden and meeting with Vasaloppet President. He gave us great support. After visiting Sweden, we signed a cooperation contract at the end of 2002. These months of efforts have also opened the beginning of Vasaloppet China.
In March 2003, we held the first Vasaloppet China. The work was hard. In March we had perfect snow conditions two weeks before the race. Snow was made day and night during the week leading up to the race.
The winner of this competition is a multiple champion from Sweden. The top three places also went to Sweden. There were also other interested athletes in 2003. There are former Olympic champions, for example, and about 1,500 students competing in cross-country skiing. This is also a new milestone.
After that, Vasaloppet Chinawas held in January every year. It is commendable that the 23rd Vasaloppet China will be held soon. During this period, we also organized 3 World Cup ski events in cooperation with the Chinese Ski Association. The former Japanese world champion also competed in Changchun.
It is worth mentioning that Vasaloppet China provided a great help to China's bid for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games, and ultimately helped Beijing to successfully bid for the Olympics.
